5 Ways to Create Your Own Natural Bath Salts

Create your own Natural Bath Salts and replicate the healing waters found in natural mineral springs. Baths that include mineral salts relax the mind, muscles and even invigorate the body.

It stimulates gentle purification and soothes tired and sore muscles. Natural bath salts soften the skin. Choose one of these recipes based on your desired outcome next time you want to feel healing waters of nature.

NOTE: Using essential oils in recipes is a priority. I only use doTERRA Essential oils. doTERRA essential oils are pure and concentrated. You do not need as much oil as you might see in other recipes.

**Please use caution if you choose to purchase essential oils that are not pure. These may be contaminated or extended with artificial fragrance and fillers and not provide the experience you want.**

Earth and Sea Bath Salts

Epsom salts and sea salt are purifying. Baking soda and borax eave your skin soft and smooth.

  • 1/2 Cup Epsom Salts
  • 1/2 Cup Sea Salt
  • 1/2 Cup Baking Soda
  • 1/2 Cup Borax

Combine the ingredients. Fill the tub with warm water and then add 4-8 TBSP of bath salts. Mix them int the water to dissolve

Tension Relieving Bath Salts

This relaxing bath eases tense and sore muscles. Did you know that magnesium supports the muscular and nervous system? Two essential oils are added to this recipe. Marjoram Essential Oil has sedative properties and eases muscle aches adn stiffness. Lavender Essential Oil eases both physical and emotional tension

Mix above ingredients together. Add to running water and stir to dissolve before getting into the bath. Soak for 20 to 30 minutes.

Sweet Dreams Bath Salts

For a deeply relaxing bath to enhance sleep and encourage dreams, follow this recipe

Mix ingredients into running water and stir to dissolve before enjoying.

Invigorating Bath Salts

Maybe you would like some extra energy after a long hard day or woke up exhausted. Try this soak and put some pep in your step!

Mix all the ingredients together and add to running water. Swish with your hand to dissolve and enjoy this invigorating 20 to 30 minute soak.

Meditative Bath Salts

Mix all together and pour under running water. With hands stir to dissolve before getting into the tub. Relax and enjoy for 20 – 30 minutes.
